Activities in Söderåsen

Are speed and action your thing? You have the options of watching motor racing at Ring Knutstorp, riding your mountain bike over challenging terrain or riding at a ‘tölt’ on an Icelandic horse. Those looking for quieter activities can enjoy fishing in Söderåsen’s lakes and ponds, walking with or without a guide or canoeing. Or might you be tempted by a round of golf?

  • Canoeing

The Rönne river has both calm water and thrilling rapids. Stay overnight in a wind shelter.

  • Walking

Söderåsen is a delight for anyone who likes walking. The Ridge to Ridge trail, a section of the Skåneleden trail, will take you out into the wilds of nature past a number of Söderåsen’s places of interest. There are also paths to explore in our attractive recreation areas.

  • Fishing

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned angler, few places have such varied fishing to offer. You can fish free of charge in Finstorpsdammen pond, and no permit is needed to fish for perch or rainbow trout! In other spots it’s best to check whether a permit is required.

  • Pony trekking

There is a horse for everyone, whether you are an experienced rider or have never sat on a horse before. Experience the outdoors in a delightfully unusual way from the back of our steady Iceland horses or Haflingers.

  • Cycling, mountain biking or pedal trolleys

Cycling is a real multi-sensory experience. Söderåsen has many lovely cycle-friendly roads with places of interest at every turn. And you’re never far from an inn or a café. Other options include a fast-paced ride over the rugged terrain of our mountain bike course in Klåveröd, or a pedal trolley trip with the family from Klippan to Ljungbyhed.
